Located within Suzhou’s Shi Lu commercial district in the historic city center, Suzhou China Central Place is a 33-acre landmark mixed-use development that redefines urban life in one of China’s most storied cities.

苏州华贸中心坐落于苏州历史悠久的市中心石路商业区，占地33英亩，是一个地标性的综合用途开发项目，重新定义了中国最具历史底蕴的城市之一——苏州的都市生活。

Situated at the edge of the historic old town—adjacent to Shantang Street and across the river from the Lingering Garden—the masterplan draws on Suzhou’s rich cultural identity to create a contemporary destination for living, working, and shopping in the Yangtze River Delta. The mixed-use development is bounded by beloved historic and commercial streets, including Shang Tang Street to the north, Feng Qiao Road to the west, Jin Men Road on the south, and Guang Ji Road on the east.

A central vehicular street organizes the site into two distinct zones: commercial retail to the east and lush residential gardens to the west. This spine connects two retail anchors—an indoor mall and an outdoor retail village—while threading together a diverse program that includes Super Grade A office towers, the Suzhou MixC World shopping destination, the Ritz-Carlton Suzhou, luxury serviced apartments, and the H+ Art Museum. The Ritz-Carlton anchors the plan’s central public plaza, its ground floor opening to the square through a lobby, restaurant, and café terrace that invite both guests and the broader public to linger.

一条中央车行道将项目划分为两个截然不同的区域：东侧为商业零售区，西侧为绿意盎然的住宅花园。这条主干道连接着两大零售中心——室内购物中心和室外零售村——并将包括超甲级写字楼、苏州万象天地、苏州丽思卡尔顿酒店、豪华服务式公寓和H+艺术博物馆在内的多元化项目串联起来。丽思卡尔顿酒店位于规划的中心公共广场，其一层通过大堂、餐厅和咖啡厅露台与广场相连，吸引着酒店宾客和公众在此驻足休憩。

Throughout the masterplan, architecture takes its cues from the traditional Suzhou vernacular. Gently angled rooflines echo the pitched profiles of the city’s historic houses, while a material palette of white stucco and dark-trimmed windows recalls the visual language of the Old City. Small canals and water features woven through the site preserve the authentic character of Suzhou’s celebrated garden culture. Designated a key cultural tourism project by both Jiangsu Province and Suzhou City, Suzhou China Central Place has established itself as a new landmark for the region—one that honors the city’s past while shaping its future.

整个总体规划的建筑设计均汲取了苏州传统建筑的灵感。缓坡屋顶呼应了苏州历史建筑的坡度轮廓，而白色灰泥和深色边框窗户等材料则展现了老城区的视觉语言。贯穿整个区域的小型运河和水景保留了苏州著名园林文化的精髓。苏州中国中心广场由江苏省和苏州市共同指定为重点文化旅游项目，已成为该地区的新地标——既传承了苏州的悠久历史，又塑造了其美好的未来。
