Lead8 is the retail architect for the future Lucheng Plaza in Wenzhou, China – a development on the banks of the Oujiang River that will feature the port city’s tallest future tower. Delivering the podium architecture, Lead8’s design will complement the mixed-use, super-tall building, which will stand at 379 metres once complete, and help to fulfil the commercial demand in the Binjiang Business District.

鹿城广场建成后定将成为温州的地标。Lead8 的设计着重于城市与建筑之间的关系，旨在打造一个让社区和游客聚集的河边热点，创造与城市空间的持续联系。几何形状的建筑形态像一个盒子漂浮在空中，犹如雕塑般耀眼，从不同角度和维度创造了该建筑与城市间的关系。基于商业考量，该开发项目与地铁网络无缝结合，并以连续流畅的功能体验，融合零售、休闲、餐饮和娱乐，打造丰富多样的现代城市生活。

Set to be an undeniable landmark for Wenzhou, Lead8 has focused on the relationship between the city and building, creating a place for the community to come together and a continuous connection with the urban space. The geometric building form appears as a floating box, almost sculptural, creating a relationship between the building and the city from multiple angles and dimensions. Bringing commercial logic to the forefront, the development seamlessly integrates with the metro network and creates a constant experience with programming that features a rich variety of retail, leisure, dining and entertainment for modern urban life.
