Benoy won the design competition to deliver this mixed-use science and innovation centre equipped with first-class research facilities. The scheme needed to cater to artificial intelligence (AI) development, identified as one of the top priorities in China, as well as challenge the current urban frameworks of the sector.

张江科学城数智天地・智慧源项目是一座集商务办公、商业和文化为一体的综合体。Benoy贝诺延续地块规划方案的“绿河” 概念，将其立体化，把半开放的公共空间与4座甲级写字楼、未来学院和商业展厅联系在一起，实现了包括地铁站体、下沉广场、空中连桥、空中大堂等在内的多层次、多维度交通连接。办公塔楼立面以程序代码为母题，形成富有节奏变化的遮阳百叶，在视觉上如信息代码的流动。未来学院作为片区的会议中心，意在促进产品展示及跨学科的学术交流，代表了整个科创园区的文化特征。项目与浦东新区内的商务、科创、文化等全球功能集聚区形成互动互补,成为一个工作与健康生活相契合、具有丰富的城市体验、具有国际影响力的科学创新中心。

Benoy’s design has put the AI Park at the heart of the scheme and integrated this with research and commercial facilities including Grade‑A office towers, corporate headquarters, retail, an intelligent R&D building and serviced apartments. The concept ensures each function is seamlessly connected to bring together the different user groups in a collaborative environment.
