Xiamen is a city enriched by its long maritime culture, and an artifact of that history is the many lighthouses in the city. Historically, these iconic structures guided both foreign and domestic ships safely into Xiamen harbor. The design of the tower was inspired by the guiding nature of lighthouses and their iconic silhouette. As a signature project for a client specializing in sustainable design, this project can be a guiding light for the future of sustainable high-rises in the city.

厦门是一座拥有悠久海洋文化的城市，而城中众多的灯塔便是这段历史的见证。历史上，这些标志性建筑曾引导国内外船只安全驶入厦门港。这座塔楼的设计灵感源于灯塔的指引作用及其标志性轮廓。作为专注于可持续设计的客户的标志性项目，该项目将成为未来城市可持续高层建筑的指路明灯。

The tower’s iconic crown seamlessly combines all the hotel amenity floors and offers a sky lobby with uninterrupted views. The podium retail steps away from the traditional air-conditioned shopping mall in favor of more locally attuned street retail. Xiamen CGDG New Era Plaza brings a world-class, sustainable retail and leisure destination to Xiamen and the world.

塔楼标志性的塔顶将所有酒店配套设施无缝衔接，并设有一个享有一览无余视野的空中大堂。裙楼零售区与传统的全空调区域的购物中心相映成趣，更倾向于更具当地特色的街边零售。厦门绿发新时代广场将为厦门乃至全世界带来世界一流的可持续零售休闲目的地。
