The Cloud Tower completes the existing Kingdee software park in Shenzhen’s Nanshan neighborhood, which is an emerging tech district. Located on the edge of a green strip, the 211-meter-high tower provides space for offices, conferences and a restaurant for Kingdee, a leading provider of enterprise management cloud services globally. The tower base is nestled between two existing office wings, on the narrow space that is still free on the site. The pentagonal footprint of the new high-rise is the result of maximizing the given space on site.

云大厦的落成完善了位于深圳南山区的金蝶软件园区，南山区是新兴的科技园区。这座211米高的摩天大楼坐落于绿化带边缘，为全球领先的企业管理云服务提供商金蝶提供办公、会议和餐饮空间。大厦底部巧妙地嵌入两栋现有办公楼之间，占据了场地内剩余的狭长空间。新摩天大楼的五边形平面布局，是对现有场地空间最大化利用的体现。

Towards the outside, the base floors are kept open in order to create a publicly accessible lobby, which serves as an urban living room, and an elevated garden above, where events and art exhibitions can be held. The façade of the Cloud Tower gives the impression of a folded envelope, which is composed of stainless-steel panels slightly shifted against each other.

大厦底部楼层采用开放式设计，打造出一个可供公众使用的“大堂”，宛如一个都市客厅；其上方则是一个空中花园，可用于举办各种活动和艺术展览。云大厦的外立面如同一个折叠的信封，由略微错位的钢面板构成。
